Long traffic jams are being reported on the M25 in the evening rush hour after a crash closed two lanes.
The disruption is reported clockwise from J26 A121 Honey Lane (Waltham Abbey) to J27 M11 J6 with two lanes remaining closed, after traffic was briefly held.
Meanwhile there are severe delays on the Central line between Northolt and West Ruislip due to an earlier points failure at Ruislip Gardens.
There are also severe delays between Stratford and Richmond and Clapham Junction on London Overground due to an earlier points failure. The Gatwick Express and Southern services were earlier hit by delays due to a defective track near the airport.
A 20mph speed restriction was in place on one of the two northbound lines between Gatwick Airport and Redhill.

Delays on the M25 due to crash

Lanes one and two remain closed, after traffic was briefly held, traffic monitoring service Inrix reports.
Gatwick Express and Southern delays over
Southern has said disruption caused by a speed restriction over defective track between Gatwick Airport and Redhill has now ended. It said its services are no longer affected by this problem. Gatwick Express services do not appear to be further affected.
Trains to London Victoria delayed until the end of the day
A speed restriction is in place near Gatwick Airport due to a defective track.

Drivers asked to avoid Tooting due to fire
The London Fire Brigade has asked drivers to avoid an area of Tooting after a fire broke out at a residential block.
Two flats on the first and second floors of a three-storey building are alight. Part of the roof is also alight.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area and to expect traffic disruption, including on London Road near the junction of Arnold Road.
M25 reopens after vehicle fire
The M25 has reopened after a vehicle fire in Kent.
Queues are now an hour-long following the incident in Swanley.
Congestion has built up to the north side of the Dartford Crossing.
Minor delays on the London Overground and Northern Line
There are minor delays on the London Overground between Willesden Junction and Stratford due to a faulty train.
There are also minor delays on the Northern Line due to a shortage of trains.
Long delays on M25 due to vehicle fire
There are long delays on the M25 in Kent due to vehicle fire.
Traffic has been stopped at Junction 3 (Swanley) following the incident.
