Manchester City ensured there was no real final-day drama as they won the Premier League for the fourth season in a row.

Pep Guardiola’s side went two-goals up on West Ham early and eased to a 3-1 win over West Ham, ensuring Arsenal’s late victory against Everton was not enough to snatch the title.

Liverpool sent Jurgen Klopp out on a high by easing past Wolves, while Tottenham wrapped up fifth place by beating bottom club Sheffield United.

West Ham were already guaranteed ninth place but the final spot was taken by Crystal Palace, after they hammered Aston Villa 5-0 to continue their flying finish to the season.

Everton and Nottingham Forest both ended tough seasons outside the relegation zone. Luton hosted Fulham and fell to one final defeat, joining Burnley and Sheffield United in going down.
